Quince sweet
Quince candy, also called quince meat or ate (in Mexico), is a sweet prepared from the quince fruit. It is native to Spain (where typical production areas such as Puente Genil are found) and Portugal. The sweet quince, membrillate or codoñate is used in Latin American cuisine, mainly Argentine, Uruguayan, Chilean and Mexican.
